  1. I love the light in all these clipper race photographs. They all have a feeling of great depth to them and they all feel very busy even though there aren't many people in them.

    I went down to the Marina early one evening about 3 hours before sunset because I knew the light would be good. I always try to look at the bigger picture so to speak and shape, shadow, form, perspective and angles all play a major part in the composition of many of my images.
