PAINTED DOOR REFLECTION

A reflection in the gloss paint work of an interior door. Another very minimalistic image. Sometimes less is more.

Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire, England.

From an assignment that I did for a National Diploma in Photography & Related Studies course at Hull College, 1995-1998.

  1. You're right -- less is sometimes more. This door frame actually tells a story and gets your mind moving. Whose door? Who's going in (or out?) Why? Why is this door at this time so important? A death? Illness? A party? And on and on.....

    Interesting! Nice work.

  2. Thank you Carol for taking the time to post a comment. Have to agree with you on this one - less is sometimes more. But then all of us perceive and appreciate things differently.

    Regards
