French School Children on a field trip to the beach. A section of the circa 1944 'Mulberry Harbour' is seen here very close to the shoreline. The first (top) image is a straight-forward monochrome photographic print (without any toning). The second (bottom) image is a monochrome photographic print that has had sepia toning applied.
