This rather imposing structure is part of the Promenade, just in front of rows of wooden beach huts, on the North side of this well-known and much loved North East Coastal town.

It looks quite creepy with the quality of the light and the emptiness!
ReplyDeleteI suppose it does, now you mention it. When I took it I was thinking about the composition between the man-made and natural elements within the view finder. There is a light (good) aspect in the foreground (the concrete). Then the brooding darker quality of the beach and sea (bad). So yes perhaps that gives it a creepy quality Jade.
