A still-life study, shot in the studio. Which features a loaned photograph of six soldiers from a signals unit of the British Army, who have just returned home to Hull after being evacuated from the beaches of Dunkirk in 1940. The photograph was loaned to me by the son of the soldier (second from the left).

The items were placed in a sand box that I constructed, the bullets were obviously blanks, the photo was loaned. The flowers were red and white carnations.
ReplyDeleteThis was my final assignment for the HND Design Photography course I was doing at Bradford College. Yes I suppose you do get a different perspective if you click on and enlarge the photo.
Thank you.
