This picture is interesting in terms of our associations with colour. Until I read that it was an orange flower, I imagined that it was yellow. I don't know why that is; maybe it's just because that's the colour I've seem most often on that kind of flower.
ReplyDeleteThanks once again for taking the time to post a comment JA.
ReplyDeleteI had two bunches of flowers that i had purchased from a shopping centre (one was orange and the other was yellow). Could be me who has got mixed up with the colour's (seeing has I mainly work in monochrome).
This is not the first time you have picked me up on my flower colours, young lady.
It doesn't surprise me that the flower is orange...they are beautiful in orange...but I think my most favorite color for the Gerber Daisy is fuchsia...a friend of mine designs flower arrangements and I'm always drawn to the arrangement with the fuchsia Gerber daisy...
ReplyDeleteWonderful close up...
Cheers
Yes flowers are wonderful in any colour. That is an art in it's own - flower arranging.
